Blue Logic and BCN Group Merge to Deliver First Class Services to the North

Leeds-based Blue Logic was acquired by BCN in May, following a transitional period it will now formally become the BCN Group.

The enlarged BCN Group will continue to deliver award-winning IT services to the North with the merger helping to improve the products and services offered to clients. This includes cutting-edge technologies, cloud solutions and IT security and a brand-new website www.bcn.co.uk.

Blue Logic, first established in 2007, has had an impressive track record across a wide range of sectors and has carved out a reputation for being a technological powerhouse and leader in the North. Now with the ownership of BCN group it will continue to enhance services, products and solutions to the Region.

The BCN Group will now service more than 1100 clients across the North from its headquarters in Manchester and offices in Leeds, Burnley.

The BCN Group expects to grow its turnover to £24m this year and will to drive this to £50m within the next 3 years. Expansion will be achieved through an ongoing hunt for effective business acquisitions as well as expanding the team with key hires and continued development of internal talent.

Simon Kelf, co-founder of the BCN Group, said: “The acquisition will give us greater presence across the North, enabling us to expand our offering and services to clients.

We believe that both BCN and Blue Logic customers will enjoy access to a wider set of products and services as the expertise of each business unit becomes available to the other.”

Not only is BCN looking to boost employment in the area, it will also continue the trend of offering to educate local businesses through free-to-attend events, roundtables and talks presented by its in-house team of technology experts. 2019 has seen 11 events so far, which focused on Cyber Security, Sage, Business Intelligence, Tech Trends and Microsoft 365.

BCN Group was founded in 2009 by Simon Kelf and Matt Smith.

It has a range of specialisms – including cloud hosting solutions, cloud migration data management, hardware sales and maintenance – which it provides to hundreds of customers across the country.
