KQ Liverpool lands new pop-up coffee shop

Local coffee shop Land has opened its second pop-up after huge success at Liverpool Science Park.

Land Coffee, which opened at LSP in November last year, was instantly welcomed by the customers, leading to an expansion of the company to a secondary location within the Accelerator building on the city’s health campus.

In addition to the expansion, owners Matt and Lotte have also recruited two new baristas and are looking to add new products to their ever-growing menu over the coming months.

Matt Nightingale, co-owner and Head Barista at Land, said: “The last nine months have been a complete whirlwind for us and, whilst we were completely confident in our brand and product, we never imagined that we would be opening up in a second location so soon.

“The support that we have received from the team at LSP has been incredibly humbling, and we can’t wait to replicate the success we have seen so far.”

George Barclay, Community Manager at LSP, said: “Since opening in ic1 last November, Land have been an integral part of the LSP Community and it’s really exciting to see Matt and Lotte embark on this new venture. Land really are going from strength-to-strength and we cannot wait to see what they have planned next.”

Land’s new home is on the ground floor of the Accelerator building, another of Knowledge Quarter Liverpool’s Science and Tech spaces.
