The CEO of north-west law firm Napthens has been named as a finalist for a top award celebrating the best in leadership in the north.

Shru Morris has been shortlisted for the Professional Services Leader award, as part of the Northern Leadership Awards.

More than 120 entries were received for the awards run by regional publication TheBusinessDesk.com. Winners will be announced at a ceremony taking place in Leeds in November.

Judges were top figures from across the northern business community, including Damian Waters, CBI North West director, and Burnley FC CEO David Baldwin.

Shru Morris said: “Napthens continues to go from strength to strength, with the expansion of our service offering and our geographical reach. Nominations such as this one are not solely individual efforts but are a reflection of the hard work and experience of the whole team at Napthens, who continue to impress.”
