Birmingham Museums is launching a range of new corporate patrons’ schemes, giving businesses the opportunity to support the charity and align their brand with the city’s culture, heritage and world-class collection.

The new corporate opportunities programme, which launches on Thursday 12 September, is based on a tiered structure with a range of opportunities to unlock, including reaching Birmingham Museums’ 1.2 million annual visitors.

Starting from £500, the schemes offer the chance to engage with Birmingham Museums’ nine museums and historic properties, including the internationally renowned Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, and gems such as Aston Hall and Museum of the Jewellery Quarter.

Organisations can choose to become a corporate member, patron or partner, and enjoy a range of benefits including CSR and development opportunities for their teams, behind-the-scenes experiences, and unique hospitality and networking opportunities.

Businesses can also inspire employees with specialist talks, membership discounts, venue tickets and family events, along with outstanding curator-led opportunities.

Birmingham Museums is an educational charity and support from the city’s businesses is vital to ensuring it can care for Birmingham’s collection and heritage, so it can continue to inspire future generations. The museum collection, which includes everything from steam trains and planes, to fashion and fine art, is one of the most impressive in the country. Vital funds raised through the new schemes will help Birmingham Museums to share the city’s rich heritage and culture with local, national and international visitors.

Rachel Cockett, Director of Development at Birmingham Museums, said: “Generous support from Birmingham’s business community is vital to the work we do at Birmingham Museums, and with the launch of these new schemes we are able to offer even more to businesses so they can access world-class experiences for their employees and clients. We hope to engage with new businesses who can join our existing corporate partners to become supporters of the city’s heritage.

“By supporting Birmingham Museums and embracing the opportunity to engage with the city’s past, businesses can make an impact on the its future and celebrate the vibrant and diverse city that is Birmingham.”
