The May-June edition of the award-winning independent business magazine is now available online as well as in print so readers can access it wherever they are.

And it has already been read by nearly 1000 people.

The magazine’s team have also been working hard to ensure subscribers get the issue delivered directly to their inbox through a concerted social media campaign, which also asked them to submit a temporary home address to redirect print copies if their office or factory was shut.

Lancashire Business View commissioned Clitheroe-based digital publishing experts Yudu to create the e-edition. It can be accessed by visiting https://bit.ly/LBV92mag. As usual the magazine was printed by Peter Scott Printers of Burnley.

It is just part of a package of positive measures the publisher, which was named magazine of the year in the 2019 Prolific North Awards, has initiated in response to the Covid-19 challenge.

In line with its commitment to keep Lancashire connected, the Blackburn-based publisher has also joined forces with Boost, Lancashire’s business growth hub, to support its business community during the pandemic.

This innovative public-private sector partnership has created a campaign drawing together timely advice and essential information as well as expert comment and stories of resilience, innovation and corporate kindness.

At its heart is the #AskForHelp message designed to reassure business that ongoing support is available from a multitude of experienced providers and can be accessed through a single call to Boost.

As part of the partnership Lancashire Business View’s online business news service is publishing a daily coronavirus update containing the latest developments and valuable advice. It is also signposting were businesses in the county can go for help.

Lancashire Business View publisher Richard Slater, said: “For the last 15 years our job has always been to provide information that our readers can use in their business. That role is now more important than ever.

“Our small team has really risen to the challenge of keeping Lancashire’s business community connected, informed and engaged in these testing times. I’m very proud of the way they have responded and adapted.

“I’m also grateful to all the positive support we have received from our advertisers, suppliers and our audiences.

“The digital edition that we have produced alongside our regular print product is part of our response to the coronavirus crisis and it has given us our biggest ever readership.

“Our partnership with Boost is another example of the valuable role we play in our county. Our daily news service continues to deliver information and advice, alongside our Wednesday Weekly bulletin, which reaches businesses and decision makers across the county and in all sectors.”

“It’s not business as usual, but business goes on, and we’re here to help our readers do that.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][nectar_cta btn_style=”see-through” heading_tag=”h6″ link_type=”regular” alignment=”left” link_text=”View the digital magazine now” url=”https://www.lancashirebusinessview.co.uk/read-lbv92-online”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
