Test Meter Group, a leading thermal imaging solutions provider, is helping companies across the UK to get back to work safely, thanks to its temperature screening solutions.

The Leeds-based business has reported an unprecedented number of enquiries for its thermal imaging temperature screening solutions, as businesses across the country prepare for their employees to return to the workplace.

As the UK distributor of FOTRIC fever screening products, Test Meter Group has seen huge interest from businesses spanning many different sectors, including gyms and health clubs, retail outlets, manufacturing, warehouses and higher and secondary education.

The sudden spike in interest comes from businesses looking to implement additional safety measures as they prepare to re-open to employees or members of the public, post COVID-19 lockdown.

The company has seen a surge in interest in the FOTRIC 226B infrared thermal fever screening system, of which Test Meter Group is the exclusive UK distributor. The technology uses AI face detection to automatically lock each individual face for temperature measurement and features an intelligent temperature calibration algorithm, which prevents false negatives. If the imager detects an abnormal temperature, FOTRIC 226B automatically emits an alert, allowing for a rapid on-site identification.

Lasse Tonnesen, Managing Director at Test Meter Group, said: “As the UK looks to get back to work, we’ve seen a huge number of enquiries from across a number of different sectors for our FOTRIC products and we have been working hard with new and existing customers to ensure they have the tools in place to keep employees and members of the public safe

“Fever screening will play a key role in allowing many businesses to return to a new type of normality while operating safely in the weeks to come and we are confident that this new technology can help businesses, in addition with other precautions, to offer the reassurance needed as they look to reopen.”
