Chester’s award-winning eatery 1539 Restaurant & Bar is set to re-open its doors this Saturday 4 July. The restaurant will stage two celebratory events over Saturday and Sunday, beginning with a live screening of the Epsom Derby. Guests can enjoy all the action from Epsom Downs, including the Investec Oaks and Investec Derby from 12pm.
A cash bar and table service betting will be available on the roof terrace overlooking the racecourse and those wishing to dine may order food from the Roof Lounge bowl food and platter menu. Racing Posts and a special 1539 racing briefing will be available for aficionados to study the form before the off.
On Sunday, everyone’s favourite staple, the 1539 roast returns. Lunch is served from 12pm and guests can enjoy a celebratory two courses for £19.50 per person or three courses for £24.50 per person.
Following a fantastic response from loyal customers of 1539, places on both days are limited.
