Christmas comes early for City’s Seasonal Specialists.

The Christmas Countdown Is On! Liverpool’s Festive Group see a huge surge in early bookings.

We might have missed our summer holidays and large events might still be on ice but for one Liverpool firm it looks like Christmas has come early this year.    Seasonal décor and events specialists, The Festive Group, said they have received a much higher number of Christmas enquiries this month than ever before.   Domestic customers seem to be eager to get their festive décor plans in place and corporate customers are also planning early.

Liverpool based seasonal  events specialists, The Festive Group, have been overwhelmed with a record number of early enquiries for Christmas installations including many first time customers.  Festive planning has become an early priority for clients of the  Aintree based firm, famed for their large scale commercial and domestic Christmas installations, high-profile event dressing and theming services as they have recorded a significant increase in client consultations.  Domestic clients are keen to ensure that a turbulent 2020 is rounded off with an extra special family Christmas and commercial clients are planning early for the festive seasons to boost retail sales and recoup some of the lost revenue caused by Covid-19 restrictions.

Head of Operations, Paul Lally commented, ‘We would normally see a surge in enquiries and bookings when people return from their holidays in September, but this year many of  our customers are staying at home and making earlier plans for an extra special Christmas following a very tough 2020.  Family time has been reduced for large chunks of the year with lockdown restrictions and the necessity for shielding and our customers are telling us that they want Christmas 2020 to be ‘magical’ this year’  .

The company has decorated the homes of many celebrity clients over the years including:-  Sharon Osborne, Dawn Ward, Gemma Collins, Caroline Stanbury, Trent Alexander Arnold, Andy Robertson and Danny Ings and Mo Salah.

Paul Lally continued “Many of our long standing customers are definitely pulling out all of the stops this years and are planning bigger and more elaborate festive installations to see out 2020 and welcome 2021.  External installations are more popular and large scale festive lighting is on a lot of domestic and commercial wish lists.   Many of our clients are ditching the festive getaways and opting for a traditional family Christmas at home.   Whilst 2020 will always be remembered for Covid-19 I genuinely think it will also be remembered as the year we saw the return of the magical and memorable family festive Christmas”
