Embryo Digital has announced the appointment of Paul Cunningham as the sales director of the digital marketing agency, effective immediately. Cunningham’s appointment expands the board of directors to 5, and he will be looking to grow Embryo Digital’s client base, increase their exposure nationally, and look to manage and build a dedicated sales and marketing team, among other ambitious plans.
Cunningham, previously of well-known agencies Epiphany Search and WMG, has worked with the likes of Pretty Little Thing, Gymshark, Love Holidays and Stagecoach, to name a few. Commenting on his decision to join Embryo Digital, Paul stated:
‘’I’ve commuted to, and worked in, the Yorkshire digital space for the past 7 years, and there are some fantastic digital marketing agencies there. However, this is what I feel is lacking in Manchester, and it’s time an agency came along to compete with these Yorkshire-based brands. Embryo Digital have proven time and time again that they are capable of becoming that agency. Headed up by Ross Green and James Welch, the team are extraordinarily creative and this shows not just in their work and client feedback, but also in the results they gain, and the projects they put out into the world. The Embryo Index – for example – allows companies within various sectors to compare themselves with competitors along key marketing metrics, allowing for a reformulation of marketing strategy that can boost their visibility in both the online and offline space. More than this, they’ve flourished in a time of worldwide uncertainty, having brought on a range of new clients the past few months, some of which are quite notable brands. They don’t slow down, and it’s this passion that I want in the agency I work for, and what’s needed to take them nationwide.’’
Bringing with him experience of working with some of the biggest and best brands known to man, Cunningham is most looking forward to the rapid growth the agency will see, as well as further establishing Embryo on the UK digital map. He has every confidence in the talents of the team, and knows that they will continue to deliver the high standards of work they are already known for.
Ross Green, Managing Director of Embryo Digital, said:
‘’Paul is renowned for his brand-building expertise, his knowledge of the digital marketing arena and his ability to forge strong relationships with clients and team members alike. We couldn’t be happier that he has decided to join Embryo, and we can’t wait to see where he helps to take our agency.’’
