BRUM BOUNCES BACK: FREE VIRTUAL EVENT FOR BIRMINGHAM BUSINESSES

A Birmingham-based charity that has been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic to support local people is turning its attention to the local business community with ‘Brum Bounces Back’.

A Birmingham-based charity that has been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic to support local people is turning its attention to the local business community with ‘Brum Bounces Back’ – a free virtual event aimed at helping organisations to rebound and recover from COVID-19.

The event will be hosted by LoveBrum on Thursday 24th September at 1pm, and will explore customer behaviour trends and marketing in the ‘new normal’.

Expert guest speakers from advertising and creative agency McCann, media buying experts Mediacom, and digital agency Lightbox will be talking about the changes in media consumption post-COVID, how creativity can support a robust recovery, and how to use digital products and channels to attract new markets.

This will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions about how you can position your own business for a robust recovery.

Paul Mitchell, executive director at LoveBrum, said: “LoveBrum’s purpose is to make Birmingham a better place in a variety of ways. For our virtual event we have brought together some of the city’s best marketing brains to help your business or organisation bounce back from the pandemic.

“We’ve been busy over the last few months raising funds through our OneBrum appeal to help people on the ground with food parcels, counselling and other vital services. While this work continues, we also need to focus on the future and getting our businesses through the challenging times the pandemic continues to present.”

To sign up for Brum Bounces Back, visit https://lovebrum.org.uk/event/brum-bounces-back/ to register and you will receive a link to join the event virtually.

LoveBrum is a registered charity that supports hidden gem projects across Birmingham.

LoveBrum’s #OneBrum campaign was launched in early April, in response to the pandemic to help raise vital funds for local causes and unite the city, as it faces challenging times, and has now raised more than £27,000.

The appeal has temporarily replaced LoveBrum’s regular monthly rounds of funding, targeting a number of local causes delivering specific COVID-19 related initiatives, as well as helping LoveBrum to continue its own work.
