Catapult and KQ Liverpool created children’s book ‘The Animates – Learning in Liverpool’

The ambition for the book is a way to create a unique, enduring platform to introduce primary school aged children to the concept of innovation and help them understand more about the many incredible pioneers that live and work on their doorstep.

Working with the Connected Places Catapult, KQ Liverpool has created a children’s book called ‘The Animates – Learning in Liverpool’.

The book follows a team of seven animal inventors as they crash land in the middle of KQ Liverpool and embark on a madcap tour of its various organisations and technologies in search for the innovations needed to get them back into space.

The ambition for the book is a way to create a unique, enduring platform to introduce primary school aged children to the concept of innovation and help them understand more about the many incredible pioneers that live and work on their doorstep.

As part of Connected Places Catapult and KQ Liverpool’s inclusive innovation agenda their ambition is to have a copy in every primary school classroom in the Liverpool City Region by the end of this year.

This is where YOU can help. There are a number of corporate sponsorship opportunities to help inspire future generations.

If anyone would like to support us on the Inclusive Innovation Children’s book project please contact Alex Cousins ([email protected]) or Emily Robson ([email protected]).
