As the days grow longer and the temperatures start to heat up once again, Fazenda Manchester invited the Downtown team to join them in celebrating the arrival of Summer climes with an unforgettable evening on their outdoor terrace! The fabulous venue hosted a live DJ event on Thursday, (their first foray in to live music events), inviting friends and patrons to join them to celebrate the start of the warmer weather!
Located in the iconic Spinningfields area, Fazenda Manchester exemplifies the restaurants ethos of where tradition meets modern sophistication. The restaurant’s philosophy is rooted in the rich culinary heritage of South America, combining the authentic tradition of slow-cooked meats with contemporary dining elegance. Founded by Tomas Maunier and Robert Melman, Fazenda first opened its doors in Leeds’ in 2011 and has since opened venues in other major UK cities, including London, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Birmingham, and of course Manchester.
The essence of Fazenda lies in its dual Brazilian and Argentinian heritage, bringing the best of South American flavors to the UK. Guests at Fazenda are treated to an immersive culinary experience that reimagines traditional dishes from the Pampas of Argentina and Brazil, crafted with respect for classic techniques while incorporating a unique modern twist. The extensive selection of meats and freshly prepared sides, paired with a curated wine list and bespoke cocktails, always ensures an extraordinary dining experience.
Thursday’s event was no exception! The Downtown team were greeted by Fazenda Manchester’s trademark excellent hospitality. There was prosecco aplenty and even some nibbles including some rather scrumptious padron peppers!
As the evening got into full swing the DJ was ready to entertain with some great tunes perfect for unwinding after a long day (or kicking off the weekend early!) that added to the already buzzing atmosphere.
Unfortunately, this being Manchester there was a slight drizzle intent on scuppering our celebrations, but not even the rain could spoil our fun, we Mancunians are made of sturdier stuff!
The outdoor seating area at Fazenda Manchester is designed to ensure comfort and relaxation, regardless of Manchester’s notoriously unpredictable weather! With sheltered and heated seating options, the Downtown team and the many other patrons gathered for the evening could enjoy the festivities in comfort. Already known for its sophisticated ambiance, with the addition of some great live entertainment, the terrace really did come to life with the sound of music!
Exceptionally put together as always by Fazenda Manchester’s Relationships & Events Manager Jordana Anderson the event offered patrons a wonderful opportunity to experience Fazenda’s renowned hospitality on a lively and convivial evening.
Whether they were a regular visitor or new to the Fazenda experience, it was clear that the many guests in attendance to experience Fazenda Manchester’s first live music event were enjoying the combination of vibrant music, excellent drinks, and delicious bar and terrace food options on offer.
The event was truly a celebration of fine dining and great company for the Downtown team and certainly made for a memorable evening. We’d like to thank our friends at Fazenda for the chance to partake in this celebration of the warmer season. A toast! To the brighter, warmer days ahead!
