Downtown in Business in association with Lancashire County Council, will be hosting a major business conference on Thursday 21st October 2021 at Brockholes.
The event will focus on the work of the county’s All Party Parliamentary Group, the Capital of Culture bid, the Eden of the North project, and Lancashire’s vision for its post-COVID future.
The County Council’s Executive Director of Growth, Environment, Transport & Community Services Stephen Young said:
“We are delighted to be co-hosting this important conference with Downtown in Business. Despite the challenges we have all faced during the past year, there is much to be optimistic about in Lancashire. This event will give us the opportunity of outlining what some of the key projects and initiatives are moving forward and confirming the ambitions we have for our great county.”
The Chief Executive of Downtown in Business added:
“We are looking forward to hosting another conference at Brockholes. It has been a few years since we hosted such a major event in Lancashire, but the time is absolutely right to do so. The potential we have for growth in Lancashire is tangible, and there is a genuine appetite from the private and public sectors to seize the moment and take full advantage of the opportunities ahead.”
