With regret that Downtown in Business has had to postpone its Innovation conference that was scheduled for next Thursday (23rd June).

The event will now take place on Thursday 2nd March 2023.

DIB chief executive explained:

“A combination of the Wakefield By-election and the rail strike have robbed us of speakers and delegates. To maximise the value of the conference, we and our event partners have agreed to postpone the conference until next year. It will take place in the same venue, and all our keynote speakers are confirmed for the new date too.”

“I would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to those who have booked tickets, but I hope that people will appreciate the difficult call we have had to make. A refund for those who are unable to attend on the new conference date will, off course, be made.”
