Downtown in Business (DIB) Liverpool celebrated the best business leaders from across the Liverpool City Region at the Livercool Awards 2022, sponsored by Moore Media on Thursday 24th November 2022.
Celebrating the twentieth iteration of the gala awards dinner, Livercool highlights DIB’s ethos of ‘work hard, play hard’ celebrating the people from our city who have made a significant contribution to economic growth.
Over 300 of the city’s leading business personalities gathered at the Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre to recognise the achievements of the city’s leading entrepreneurs and business leaders.
To celebrate twenty years of the Livercool Awards, Downtown in Business CEO and Group Chairman, Frank McKenna started the evening by acknowledging several DIB Ambassadors, Peter Price, Dougal Paver from Merrion Strategy and Jayne Moore from Moore Media who have been long term advocates of Downtown in Business.
Tony McDonnell from Davies Partnership took home the big prize on the evening as he scooped the Business Personality of the Year 2022 award, Simon Krol from Krol Corlett took home the Property Personality of the Year 2022 and Ellis Barrie from Lerpwl lifted the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award 2022.
Downtown in Business also celebrated the achievements of Jay Hynd from the Guide and Sophie Park from Hybrid-Tec as they were award the CEO Award 2022 and Chair Award 2022 respectively.
Downtown Boss, Frank McKenna commented; “Once again the great and the good of the Liverpool business community have turned out for the annual celebration that is Livercool. It was amazing to see the incredible passion and talent on display in the room, showing that whatever challenges the city may be facing at moment, the business community in the city is as determined and innovative as ever. A massive congratulations to all the deserved winners for their hard work and dedication over not just the last 12 months, but the challenging last few years too.
