Downtown in Business is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Colwell as Strategic Partnerships Director. In this newly created role, Andrew will help lead initiatives to strengthen and expand Downtown’s partnerships, ensuring even greater value and impact for its members and partners.
Andrew brings a wealth of experience in strategic relationship management, business development, and stakeholder engagement across multiple sectors. His appointment marks a key step in Downtown’s continued growth and commitment to delivering the most compelling and dynamic member offering possible.
Having worked within Public, Private and Third sectors, he has a track record of delivering significant business growth and client value. Andrew will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities, elevate existing relationships, and co-create initiatives that support long-term success for the broader Downtown in Business network.
After the first ten years of his career was spent within FTSE 100 businesses, the remainder of his career has been spent within the SME sector delivering tangible value, resetting strategies, repositioning businesses, deploying campaigns and strengthening network development for a variety of organisations, including Warwickshire County Council, LBM, Club Wembley, Fleetsolve, the Andrew Flintoff Foundation, the Co-Op and Innovate UK.
