Downtown in Business (DIB) has announced that it will lead a high-profile delegation of private sector leaders and public sector partners to UKREiiF 2026 in Leeds next month – building on the organisation’s hugely successful programme at MIPIM in Cannes in March.
Following a standout week on the international stage at MIPIM, where DIB supported city regions including Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, and Newcastle in promoting major investment opportunities, the business advocacy group is now turning its focus to the UK’s premier real estate and regeneration event.
UKREiiF provides the ideal platform to maintain the momentum generated in Cannes, bringing together investors, developers, local authorities, and policymakers to translate global interest into tangible UK projects.
Downtown in Business will once again play a central role in connecting its members with key decision-makers, hosting a series of high-level events, roundtables, and networking sessions designed to unlock investment opportunities and support regional growth.
Frank McKenna, Group Chair and Chief Executive of Downtown in Business, said:
“Our presence at MIPIM this year was one of our strongest ever. We brought together an outstanding mix of private sector leaders and civic partners, and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive- real conversations, real connections, and real opportunities created.”
“UKREiiF is the natural next step. It allows us to build on that international exposure and ensure that the conversations started in Cannes are followed through here in the UK, where deals are done, partnerships are formed, and projects are delivered.”
The DIB delegation will include senior representatives from across the property, construction, professional services, and investment sectors, alongside civic leaders from some of the UK’s most ambitious and forward-thinking city regions.
The programme will focus on promoting key development opportunities, supporting public-private collaboration, and ensuring that regional voices remain at the forefront of the national economic growth agenda.
With the government placing renewed emphasis on growth, regeneration, and devolution, DIB’s presence at UKREiiF will reinforce its role as a leading voice for business and a key connector between the private and public sectors.
