Celebrate with the business community this Lancashire Day!

Save the date: November 27 promises a day of celebration and networking with local food and drink as Lancashire Business Day returns for 2018.

The first-ever Lancashire Business Day, organised by Lancashire Business View magazine, took place in 2017 and saw organisations from every corner of the county come together to share their stories and celebrate their neighbours’ successes and now

Now businesses of all sizes and all sectors are invited to join in the marketing, networking, debating and fun around #LancashireDay with a celebratory evening taking place at Northcote at the Rovers.

This year’s event will take as its theme: “If you can buy it in Lancashire, buy it in Lancashire” – Lancashire Business View’s drive to get the county’s businesses and public sector organisations to buy local.

Other highlights will include a dinner featuring food by Northcote’s Michelin-star chef Lisa Allen, a sustained marketing campaign promoting business in Lancashire and the opportunity to network with the region’s best business folk.

Event organiser Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View magazine, said: “The aim of Lancashire Business Day is to celebrate the county with our neighbours and then to amplify the message to a national and even global audience.”

The day of celebration once again takes place on November 27, the date the county first sent representatives to parliament more than 700 years ago.

Richard added: “Lancashire has the world’s fourth biggest aerospace cluster, a £4bn tourism industry and has an economy that generates £29bn each year. And it’s a friendly place to do business, too, so let’s shout about that in the best Lancashire way – by having fun!”

Downtown in Business Lancashire are proud to be media partners for the event. Frank McKenna comments: “Downtown Lancashire are again proud to support Lancashire Business Day being held on #LancashireDay. It is a great initiative that helps to showcase the breadth of talent and expertise that is available in our county. Last year’s event was a huge success and we look forward a repeat this year!”.
