On Tuesday 25th June 2024 8:00 – 10:30 am, Downtown in Business will host a special breakfast time event on behalf of our friends at Sutcliffe Engineering at Neo, a fabulous new office and events space in Manchester City Centre.

This exclusive event, which will bring together experts and key players from across the property development, engineering and housing industries to discuss the key issues and changes happening in the field and provide a chance for individuals and businesses  to network and build connections as well as discuss future projects and the direction of the industry.

This event will form part of Sutcliffe’s contribution to the popular CIH Housing Association, ‘Housing 2024’ Conference taking place in Manchester at the Manchester Central Convention Complex from the 24th to the 27th of June, so why not make a day of it?!

About the ‘Housing 2024’ Conference:

Priding itself on being ‘The only place the whole UK housing sector comes together every year’.  The Housing Conference is held annually in Manchester with the aim of raising the voice of the housing and wider living sector, with thriving communities at the heart.

Housing is more than bricks and mortar, and the solutions for today’s housing crisis require innovative solutions and funding to meet the needs of growing and differing tenures.

The Conference aims to bring together key players and hopefully lobby the next government to place the delivery of high-quality, accessible, affordable and sustainable housing at the heart of its long-term plans for the UK.

Boasting over 9,000 attendees, 500 speakers, 350 exhibitors, Housing Week provides space for the housing and wider living sector to come together, discuss and collaborate, to identify solutions and speak with one voice to those framing the debate, welcoming everyone under one roof to create a better housing future.

The Housing 2024 conference is perhaps the best place for those in the industry to meet the breadth and depth of audience designed to engender the most useful conversations for them and their teams.

So why join us for Breakfast?

A key issue:

In an election year, following years of the most challenging circumstances for housing associations, registered providers and their tenants and residents, there has never been a more important time for the housing and wider living sector to come together.  Housing is perhaps the most important industry when it comes to sparking wider change, good housing has wider benefits for communities, national growth and improving outcomes for people.

Amongst the continuing economic and political uncertainty; this breakfast event

with Sutcliffe and DIB will discuss core themes and embrace solutions coming through across the wider living sector,

Network and Connect:

This exclusive breakfast event will bring together key players in the housing industry and identify success stories already happening in order to examine solutions and strategies for the future.

Attendees (ranging from senior leaders and decision makers to board members), will gain access a breadth and depth of information, having the opportunity to listen, learn, digest and discuss and takeaway solutions.

There is conversation to be had across all levels, and this event will give attendees opportunity to speak with fellow professionals, gain valuable insight from industry experts and increase their knowledge and professional development.
