Red Door reopends after flood with a boho style garden terrace in time for Bank Holiday weekend

Red Door on Berry Street will reopen on 26th August following flood damage earlier in the summer. The popular bar on Berry Street has restored the venue to its former glory and also added an extensive all-weather garden terrace for guest to enjoy.

Red Door on Berry Street will reopen on 26th August following flood damage earlier in the summer. The popular bar on Berry Street has restored the venue to its former glory and also added an extensive all-weather garden terrace for guest to enjoy. The owners acquired the adjacent land, the former home of 53 degrees and the successful operators have transformed the wasteland into a fantastic Red Door oasis that will seat up to 250 guests and accommodate another 50 standing.

The chilled ‘boho chic’ feel will retain all of Red Door’s charm, whilst embracing the natural surroundings with decadent planting, wooden baskets and festoon lighting. A touch of luxury will include fire pits and hammocks for guests to chill out and enjoy an alfresco experience in one of the city’s most vibrant bars. All tables will have parasols and patio heaters and as winter approaches look out for the giant Red Door Tepee which will cover the entire terrace to service the autumn and winter months.

Red Door have partnered with Root Catering and have developed an exciting new Garden BBQ menu and an improved pizza offering. The Garden BBQ menu includes an impressive Bang Bang Cauliflower, Louisiana Hot Loaded Corn, Cheeseburger and a Vegan Hotdog, whilst the pizza menu has a varied selection to choose from including the classic Margherita, American and a Formaggio Blu:-

To compliment the Garden menu’s the team have introduced a  sharing ‘Jugs’ selection, full of all the favourites including Aperol Spritz and St. Germain Spritz, as well as cocktails that pack a punch including the Garden of Eden, and Jungle Juice .

With all systems go to reveal the stunning addition to the venue next Friday 26th August regulars can expect an extra dimension to the current Red Door offering in time for bank holiday weekend.

Sunday: 3pm-4am, Garden closing at 1am

Red Door legendary live acts and DJ’s are planned for Friday and Saturday’s and larger events planned for future bank holidays and special occasions. The terrace will also evolve into a perfect event space with the World Cup plans already taking shape. 

Whilst Red Door is famous for producing some of the best ‘Bottomless’ packages in the city, guests will now be able to enjoy an alfresco experience in the heart of the city centre.  

Red Door have also commissioned their resident  graffiti artist to create a huge eye-catching masterpiece on the massive exposed brick wall at the side of the building in keeping with the interior artwork.
