Leading from the front

The importance of inspirational leadership has never been more evident as Lancashire’s businesses look to emerge from the pandemic and its impact.

The importance of inspirational leadership has never been more evident as Lancashire’s businesses look to emerge from the pandemic and its impact.

In the January/February 2022 issue of Lancashire Business View we will be looking at the leadership qualities needed to set our economy back on the road to growth.

And, in association with Napthens Solicitors, we will be putting the spotlight on the county’s most influential, innovative and inspiring business leaders.

We want to know about the managing directors, chief executives, those at the very top of their organisations, and what makes them great leaders.

We’re calling on our readers to help us identify them, their special attributes and their success stories, not just during the pandemic but throughout their careers.

If there is someone in business you’d like to nominate for our very special leaders’ list, which we will be publishing in our next issue, please get in touch by filling in the nomination form here.

Lancashire Business View publisher Richard Slater said: “Every issue of our magazine contains stories of great leadership, the efforts of those who, through their determination and skill, are driving forward the businesses they head.

“Our aim is to get under the skin of our leaders, to find out what attributes they have, the qualities that help them make the decisions that make a real difference, how they motivate their workforce, their vision and values.

“We’re also keen to highlight their achievements so far and to share their vision of the future.

“If you know of someone, in any sector of the economy here in Lancashire, that you think fits that bill, please share their names with us.”

Napthens Director of HR, Nicola Mason said: “Lancashire has some fantastic businesses and behind every great business there are the leaders who drive performance, manage change, overcome challenges and motivate their people to succeed.

“We’re delighted to support this feature. It’s fascinating to hear the stories of the people behind business success and those who have steered their organisations through difficult times. We can learn from their leadership experiences – and be inspired.” Those nominated will be reviewed and the top leaders will appear in the special Lancashire Leaders feature in the January / February 2022 edition and celebrated at a special live event in January.
