Continued growth at accountants and business advisors Beever and Struthers attracts top talent from Big Four Firm

As the Manchester-based firm continues to grow, Joe Diston has been appointed as Audit Director, to work with the private sector team looking after a variety of clients across a number of different industries.

The past 12 months has seen another year of achievement for accountants and business advisors Beever and Struthers.

As the Manchester-based firm continues to grow, Joe Diston has been appointed as Audit Director, to work with the private sector team looking after a variety of clients across a number of different industries.

Joe joined Beever and Struthers having spent 15 years working in the Big Four audit environment, servicing private equity, financial services, and various other clients across the UK, US, Europe and the Cayman Islands.

In addition to his role with Beever and Struthers, Joe is a Non-Executive Director for Wickersley Partnership Trust (WPT), utilising his financial experience to support the WPT management team in their operation of 13 schools that comprise the Trust.

Joe said: “I’m joining the well-respected team at Beever and Struthers at an exciting time of expansion and development. The firm has a strong reputation for high-level client service and investment in its people and I’m delighted to be able to play a part in their future growth. My varied experience both in the UK and internationally supports their growth plans.”

Introducing Joe to the Beever and Struthers team reflects the significant investment Beever and Struthers are placing in their audit team, both in people but also systems and processes, with the recent commencement of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership agreement with Alliance Manchester Business School.

Caroline Monk, executive partner at Beever and Struthers, added: “Joe is an invaluable addition to our ever-growing team, enhancing our delivery of client services and enhancing our international offering in partnership with HLB International.  His experience will help our clients to achieve their full potential whilst ensuring that as a firm we achieve ours.”
