Davies Partnership has marked its 25th year with a fresh new rebrand, website, new structure, new hires, and key promotions as the business strengthens its position in the market during the COVID19 Pandemic.

Managing Director, Tony McDonnell commented;

“2020 was a peculiar year for most businesses and with our 25th birthday approaching it felt like the right time to review our visual identity and set new goals for the growth of the business.

During the past 12 months we have pushed forward with a new structure, made several promotions, and made a number of new key appointments. We have invested time in developing our new brand identity which also gave us the opportunity to reflect on why we do what we do and helped us define a much stronger message about our business.”

Our team have a rich diversity of skill sets brought together through a shared culture and vision to make a difference to the projects that we work on. We have an eclectic mix of individuals at Davies Partnership and I must give credit to the entire team for the dedication and resilience shown during the past 11 months.

This really is an exciting time for our business, and we are all looking forward to what lies ahead. “

Established in 1996 by Chairman Phil Davies and later joined by Mike Flanagan to form the ‘Partnership’ the business was later incorporated in the name of Davies M&E Partnership Ltd. Daughter Gemma Davies (Business & Finance Director) being involved in the business from the start is later joined by Tony McDonnell (Managing Director) and Peter Lyke (Operations Director) in 2003 who become Directors and shareholders in 2013. The business moves its base from Farndon to Hoole, Chester around that time and Richard Lewis (Technical & Quality Director) joins to complete the current Board of Directors. In 2017 it opens a second office in Conwy, North Wales to support a growing client base and in 2019 Davies Partnership opens its third office in Brunswick Dock, Liverpool.

Phil Davies said:

“I started the business in 1996 leaving a position of MD of a large multidisciplinary practice to take the opportunity to set up a new practice. Though there have been some tough times in our industry over the past 25 years with hard work and determination it has seen us through.  Tony McDonnell, Peter Lyke and Gemma Davies were part of those times and with the addition of a likeminded Richard Lewis this has made our executive team even stronger.

The direction and strategy provided by Tony McDonnell and the progressive and dedicated development of these by the rest of the exec team equipped us well to tackle the extraordinary events of 2020. It was a time for strong management; to hold firm and remain positive about continuing to push forward with plans to refresh and review the business whilst effectively adapting our working practices due to COVID for the safety of our team and their families. I am on the back seat now but what an exciting time with tremendous prospects for the future with the new brand, structure, and talent in the business.

Davies Partnership worked with USP Creative on the brand identity and Farm Factory to develop the new website.
