City of Liverpool College in collaboration with Vaillant are committed to supporting installers in their ever-changing industry, that’s why they’ve got an exciting opportunity! The City of Liverpool College for Business are running an accredited Level 3 Skills Bootcamp in Green Energy Gas Engineer Upskilling.
The Bootcamp will be running from 25th November until 6th December 2024 with a total of 15 spaces available. Places will be filled on a first come first served basis.
What you’ll learn
Across 3 modules, you’ll gain qualifications to install and maintain ground source and air source heat pumps within unvented systems, ensuring you’re fully equipped to work in the fast-growing renewable energy sector. Plus, you’ll gain crucial knowledge of Water Regulations, helping you ensure compliance with industry standards while keeping consumers safe.
You’ll also gain the following accredited qualifications:
- The BPEC Level 3 Award in Heat Pump Systems (non-refrigerant circuits).
- The required Blue Flame Accreditation for Unvented Systems and Water Regulations.
Who is the Programme for?
The Skills Bootcamp is free of charge for self – employed individuals and up to 90% funded for employed individuals with employers required to contribute to learner fees. You must be aged 19 or older on or before 31st August 2024 to take part and have been a UK resident for a minimum of 3 years and live in the Liverpool City Region. At least a level 3 qualification in plumbing or gas is also required.
The course will be held at the Industry and Innovation Centre (Vauxhall Road Campus) in the City of Liverpool College’s state-of-the art Green Technologies School and Testing Centre.
