Christmas is coming to Hilton Liverpool City Centre – and this year there is a distinctly Alpine twist.
The city centre hotel is preparing to turn up the festive sparkle with An Iconic Après Ski Festive Season, bringing together fabulous food, flowing drinks, dancing, twinkling décor and plenty of Christmas cheer throughout December.
Inspired by the fun and glamour of celebrating after a day on the slopes, Hilton Liverpool City Centre is bringing the spirit of the mountains to Liverpool, with everything from big Christmas party nights and private celebrations to a fabulously festive afternoon tea.
And there is no need for skis, snow boots or a passport.
The celebrations begin with Hilton’s Festive Party Nights, taking place on Fridays and Saturdays on 4-5, 11-12 and 18-19 December.
Priced at £59 per person, the nights include an arrival drink, three-course dinner and DJ and dancing, with a suitably seasonal menu featuring cured salmon carpaccio, bacon-wrapped truffle and tarragon stuffed chicken roulade, winter lodge braised beef cheek and cabin-roast butternut squash and sage.
Dessert comes with an extra helping of Christmas fun in the form of Rudolph’s Salted Caramel Délice, followed by tea, coffee and mince pies.
For groups looking for something a little different, the hotel’s striking IMAGINE venue will host private Mix & Mingle celebrations for up to 200 guests.
Starting from £40 per person, the package combines an arrival drink, DJ and dancing with a playful menu of canapés and small bites including fondue-style brie bites, ski-patrol duck confit bonbons, maple lodge pigs in blankets sliders, snowball crayfish and prawn cocktail brioche and fireside mini Yorkshires.
For a more leisurely taste of Christmas, Festive Afternoon Tea will be served throughout December, bringing a seasonal twist to one of Britain’s favourite indulgences.
Priced at £35 per person, the menu features truffle egg mayo brioche, roast turkey with cranberry sauce and Brussels sprout slaw, smoked salmon rösti cups and mini quiches, followed by mince pies, Christmas pudding cheesecake, coconut snowballs and freshly served scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
Tea or barista coffee and a glass of Bottega Poeti Prosecco complete the experience – because Christmas afternoon tea surely deserves a little fizz.
