- Partnership sees Altius launch a pop-up physiotherapy clinic at Bloc and Neo to boost the health and wellbeing of customers and the community
- Bruntwood Works will support North West-based Altius Healthcare in growing its portfolio of corporate clients
Bruntwood Works, one of the UK’s leading commercial property companies, has partnered with leading physiotherapy and treatment clinic Altius Healthcare as it continues to invest in health as part of its focus on workplace wellbeing.
The partnership enables customers across the Bruntwood Works portfolio and the wider community to access the clinic’s wide range of physiotherapy, sports massage and podiatry services.
Altius will open weekly physiotherapy and treatment clinics across Bruntwood Works’ Manchester portfolio – including Bloc and Neo, which are part of the workspace and leisure specialist’s £100m Pioneer programme of forward-thinking workspaces. The clinics will be based in Bloc and Neo’s Pop-Up Rooms, which are flexible consultation spaces that provide customers with access to a variety of healthcare and beauty services, while giving local providers access to the Bruntwood Works’ community.
The partnership will also allow Altius to scale its network of clients and grow its presence in the region. Bruntwood Works has confirmed plans to roll-out the partnership across further sites in the North.
The team at Altius, which also has bases in Hale, Bury and Manchester, provides a wide range of rehabilitation and wellbeing services, and has spent more than 17 years working for high profile clients including Sale Sharks, Red Bull and London Wasps. Altius treats more than 2,000 patients a month across its clinics, including to a range of professional sports teams, including Mercedes and Stoke FC. Clients will be able to book appointments through Altius Healthcare’s website, and access the firm’s innovative approach to corporate wellbeing, including its “Sit Strong” wellness packages, which aim to undo the physical and mental effects of prolonged sitting.
Charlotte Wild, Head of Retail & Leisure at Bruntwood Works says: “Health and wellbeing is crucial for good business and for powering productivity, in turn helping to drive economic prosperity, which is why we’re committed to creating human-centric environments with wellbeing at their heart in our portfolio. By building holistic spaces that enhance the lives of our customers and the wider communities in urban spaces, we can create thriving cities. Altius Healthcare provides a valuable service, and we look forward to helping the business grow its network and expand its reach across our North West portfolio.”
Doug Jones, CEO of Altius Healthcare, adds: “Our mission is to help our clients achieve their goals, and give them the tools they need to live and work better. General wellness is central to happiness and performance, which is why physical and mental wellbeing is so important. Bruntwood Works champions the health of its customers, employees and the wider community, and we’re proud to be partnering with such a highly regarded pioneer in the space.”
Workplace wellness is central to the Bruntwood Works Pioneer programme ethos, which focuses on blending work and lifestyle to bring balance to business. This means removing barriers to keeping fit and healthy – making it easy for people to access health and physiotherapy services as an everyday part of a fulfilling workplace routine, and in turn improve mental wellbeing and productivity.
The partnership with Altius Healthcare is the latest wellbeing investment from Bruntwood Works, and follows its partnerships with international fitness brand Les Mills and Manchester’s premier training brand, FORM.
