With that being the end of the bank holiday weekend, we are looking back at last Thursday evening, where Downtown was invited to attend the new Spring/Summer menu launch for Albert’s Schloss, Liverpool.
What a night it was! With summer quickly approaching, Albert’s Schloss have announced their new Spring/Summer menu, and it is not one to disappoint! From their new Cook Haus menu to the fabulous range of signature cocktails, we were all spoilt for choice!
The evening was set in their Ludwig’s Tavern, a place above all, to truly set the scene of the night ahead. With its own private bar and terrace overlooking the magnificent restaurant/bar below, Ludwig’s Tavern is perfectly situated where you can have your own private night away from the rest, to truly experience the wonders of Albert’s Schloss.
Welcoming us, was the first of many from their new ‘Seasonal Wunders.’ With our welcome drink in hand, we soon discovered that the evening was going to be for many surprises. We were welcomed with the ‘Watermelon + Mint Cooler,’ which to say, packed a punch, but piqued our interest to what seemed to be a ‘wunderful’ night ahead. Next was the chosen favourite by many, and one we were dying to try! The ‘Peach Iced Tea’ was the winner for me, and one I will be back to have again!
Throughout the evening, we were spoilt for choice with the multitude of food options from their new Cook Haus Spring/Summer Menu. The delights were flowing throughout the night, from Paprika Prawns to the newly added Halloumi Schnitzel Burger, you couldn’t refuse anything that passed by! Although not often thought of or chosen, croquettes are always the best go-to for small plates, and the Alpine Krokettes that Albert’s Schloss chosen to highlight did not disappoint.
Overall, what a fabulous night we were treated to from the Albert’s Schloss team! From the initial invitation from Helen, to the welcoming arrival, this fantastic team showcased all the hard work and effort they have put in to give us this amazing new menu. Once again, I would definitely be recommending for all to pay a visit to Albert’s Schloss, Liverpool, this summer, to try out as many of their ‘wunderful’ new food and drink items as possible!
