Award-winning integrated PR and marketing agency, Moore Media has appointed a new managing director and head of marketing to spearhead its brave and bold growth ambitions for 2025.
Andrew Colwell joins Moore Media as managing director, bringing 25 years of senior leadership experience on both client and agency side, working across public and private sectors with FTSE 100 and PLC organisations including Innovate UK, the Co-Op, Warwickshire County Council and Royal Albert Hall.
During his career, Andrew has delivered significant revenue increases, transformational change and scale-up growth within the SME sector, while gaining valuable insight into solution based approaches for sustainability and the wider net-zero journey for the likes of Newcastle University, Brent Council, Tesco and the NHS.
He is also a serving board member of the Liverpool City Region Sustainable Property and Construction Group.
Jayne Moore, CEO of Moore Media, said:
“Today we realise a vision for the future, returning to our roots with a rebrand that represents our name as a marque of quality. The decision to appoint two industry trailblazers kicks off an exciting new phase for Moore Media. We’re already seeing the positive impact of these changes, and I’m confident that this momentum will only grow as we move through 2025.”
Moore Media is already celebrating numerous client wins since the start of 2025, including The Martin Gallier Project, Enviro Building Products, Millfield Estates and Glenville Walker.
Andrew Colwell, managing director at Moore Media, said:
“I’m truly impressed by the Moore Media team — their ability to deliver stellar results for clients is clear.
“They combine talent, capability and the right mix of passion and attitude for successful client delivery. I’m invigorated by the opportunity to work with Moore Media’s existing client roster, which is packed with innovative, successful businesses, each a leader in its field, and I am excited to introduce the agency to my network across the UK.”
Alongside Andrew is new head of marketing, Leanne Howard, who comes with 22 years of marketing experience at some of the UK’s most well known high street brands including Matalan, The Very Group, Iceland and M&S.
Leanne managed Matalan’s creative production team through re-brand campaigns and oversaw the photography and POS strategy, which set the creative direction for over 200 stores.
She has worked on campaigns with brand ambassadors including Mark Wright, Abbey Clancy and Denise Van Outen and was involved in the Matalan and Alder Hey charity partnership for ten years, which in that time raised £4.2m.
Leanne Howard, head of marketing at Moore Media, said:
“Both Moore Media and I are embarking on an exciting new chapter; my experience has predominantly been client side so I have a clear understanding of what a client needs from a top class agency. I can’t wait to come onboard with existing clients and new ones as we grow.’
Jayne added:
“Andrew and Leanne will drive forward the growth of our team and services to match our new brand. This is a statement of our ambition to grow alongside our clients and remain the standout leaders in our field.”
