Liverpool’s newest and most loved live music venue, SoundYard, is gearing up for two unmissable weekends this September, welcoming a pair of sell-out acts to its 900-capacity purpose-built indoor/outdoor space in the heart of the Baltic Triangle.
First up, on Saturday 20th September, Irish folk-rock favourites All Folk’d Up return to Liverpool after a sell-out performance at Punch Tarmey’s in 2023. With roots in Dublin’s iconic Temple Bar and tours spanning Europe and the U.S., the band are known for their banjo-driven energy and modern twists on Irish classics. Expect a night of anthemic, foot-stomping folk alongside support from the acclaimed piano-acoustic duo JukeBox Duo.

The following weekend, on Saturday 27th September, SoundYard will host FunkYard with Craig Charles—a full-throttle funk & soul party headlined by one of Liverpool’s most iconic entertainers. Returning to his hometown, Craig Charles will deliver a two-hour DJ set of the world’s funkiest tracks, joined by local favourites Charlie Cee and Derek Kaye for a night of non-stop music and good vibes from 5pm until late.
Speaking ahead of the event, Craig Charles said:
“There’s nothing like coming home to Liverpool. I can’t wait to get the party going with some proper funk and soul, all handpicked by me. It’s going to be an unforgettable night!”
