Dishoom Permit Room Liverpool opens on 5 March, marking the group’s first opening in the city, with a soft launch running from 28 February to 4 March, offering 50% off food during this period.
Dishoom, the beloved Indian hospitality brand known for its celebratory take on Bombay café culture, is set to bring its Permit Room concept to Liverpool.
The Permit Room is Dishoom’s spirited sister concept: an all-day bar café that pays homage to the iconic permit rooms of Bombay, the vibrant social spaces that emerged in India’s 1960s and 1970s drinking culture. Inspired by these convivial post-prohibition bars, the Permit Room blends laid-back hospitality with a lively food and drinks offering, serving from breakfast through to late-night drinks and small plates.
Located at No. 1 Dale Street, in the former Royal Bank of Scotland building, the Liverpool Permit Room will offer a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike to gather over classic and inventive cocktails, craft beers, bar snacks, sharing plates, curries and moreish dishes rooted in Dishoom’s much-loved Bombay influences.
