Social housing regeneration specialist, RE:GEN, has delivered improvements to 1,331 homes through the latest Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund programme – accounting for 70% of all homes reported as receiving improvements across the region.
Government delivery statistics for the 2025/26 financial year show that 1,891 homes across the North West were reported as receiving improvements through the programme, highlighting the significant contribution RE:GEN is making to homes across the region.
The achievement comes just three years after RE:GEN began its journey in the North West, highlighting the pace at which the business has established itself as a delivery partner for housing providers across the region.
RE:GEN has worked with customers including Jigsaw Homes Group, Your Housing Group, Peaks and Plains Housing Trust and One Manchester, delivering programmes designed to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of residents’ homes.
Peter Jackson, Managing Director, RE:GEN North West, said:
“This is a fantastic milestone for the team and a real reflection of how far the business has come in just three years.
“To be responsible for 70% of the region’s reported delivery is something we should be incredibly proud of, but what matters most is the difference that work is making to people’s homes and everyday lives.
“I want to thank our teams, our customers, and our supply chain partners for the trust, commitment and hard work that has made this possible. We know there is plenty more to do, and we’re excited to keep building on what we’ve achieved together and supporting even more communities across the North West.”
The North West results form part of a wider achievement for RE:GEN Group, which delivered measures to 3,253 homes through the latest Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund programme – representing 27% of all reported lodgements across the UK.
The Group works across the North West, Yorkshire and East Midlands and the North East and recently established a base in the Midlands
For RE:GEN, the figures are significant not only because of the scale of delivery, but because of what they represent for the residents whose homes have been improved.
The Group’s purpose is to enhance lives through safe, sustainable social housing regeneration, with retrofit and energy efficiency programmes playing an important role in delivering that purpose.
Delivering programmes at this scale has required close collaboration between RE:GEN’s teams, customers and supply chain partners.
Since establishing its North West operation, RE:GEN has continued to build its regional team and strengthen its relationships with housing providers, creating a platform for continued growth.
The company says the latest figures demonstrate what can be achieved when customers, contractors and supply chain partners work towards a shared goal.
