Mental Health in the Construction Industry with… Trevor Steven

Downtown boss Frank McKenna chats with Trevor Steven about Causeway Technologies and their Mental Health campaign in the construction industry.

Downtown boss Frank McKenna chats with Trevor Steven about  @CausewayTech  and their Mental Health campaign in collaboration with Everton in the Community.

The Construction is an industry that struggles more than most with mental health problems. Research shows that 1 in 4 construction workers contemplate suicide, and male site workers are three times more likely to die by suicide than the average male in the UK. These tragic statistics highlight the need for real change in the construction industry.

Causeway Technologies have partnered with Everton in the Community to join the dots between construction, mental health, and football. They truly believe that sport can help open up conversations around mental health and as a technology provider, Causeway feel that there are innovative ways in which technology can provide the solution to the mental health epidemic in the industry.
