“Support is welcome but in the form of a loan presents even more risk to businesses. The key information missing, which prevents anyone making a considered decision, is time. The Government needs to use science to advise the best estimates as to what the likely time frame will be. I may take a loan for three months but would be in trouble if it was three years.”
