STEAMincubator is Birmingham City University’s new business incubation facility which is located at Millennium Point.
The incubator is open 7 days a week from 7.00am till 11.00pm and opened 1st week of March 2020.
The incubator programme will support students, graduates and local creative and digital entrepreneurs who wish to start and grow a business.
Whether you have an idea that you wish to develop, are ready to commercialise your idea, or are a start-up business looking to grow, STEAMincubator can support you.
They offer a dedicated workstation (desk, chair, storage and connectivity), meeting rooms, workshop theatre, break out areas, kitchen facilities and lots of space to collaborate and network.
They also offer high quality, flexible business support including workshops, one to one mentoring and coaching, entrepreneur in residence, one to one support for legal and accounting/financial issues and much more.
STEAMincubator will partner with STEAMhouse to utilise their specially designed spaces to prototype new products and develop new ideas including a fabrication facility where members can experiment with digital, wood, metal and print production and have access to equipment such as 3D scanners and printers, VR Headsets, CNC machinery etc.
