Downtown Lancashire in Business recently hosted the next in a series of ‘In Conversation with…’ events at Bar Pintxos, Preston with Preston City Council leader, Cllr Matthew Brown. The event covered the council’s plans for the county and cities recoveries following the pandemic, including how Preston Council is working towards becoming carbon neutral and improving planning and developments across Preston.

Cllr Brown discussed the regeneration plans set in place for Preston in an informal discussion with a number of guests in attendance. In the conversation chaired by DIB Lancashire Chair, Rob Binns, Cllr Brown also discussed hwo we are now seeing Preston rebuild and regenerate following the turmoil of the past 18 months during the pandemic and how priorities have now changed for the council with increased developments around the city.
