The Downtown Embryo Index identifies 100 top UK companies in a variety of industries. Using creativity, talent, and technical ability businesses are then scored across a series of metrics, including keyword reach, web authority, and social media to see how they are performing against one another.
We heard from James Welch, the developer being the index who explained how Downtown will work with Embryo in collating data which will then work with the created algorithm to form the ‘Stock Exchange style’ rankings. Companies will move up and down the rankings by Embryo monitoring the activities of companies and with the help of Downtown, building the Downtown x Embryo Index.
