Parkinson’s UK is hosting its Secret Supper dining event in the centre of Birmingham on Tuesday & Wednesday 28 & 29 September. Six restaurants will be involved in the Secret Supper and guests will be visiting a different restaurant for each course, only finding out on the night where they will be dining.

The City of Liverpool College has launched its Digital Academy, an arm of the College specialising in digital courses, in response to the demand for skills in the sector. Based in the thriving Knowledge Quarter, the Digital Academy provides industry-led courses, designed in collaboration with employers, to provide budding digital experts with real world experience, helping them to excel in their careers.

Blue Peter marks the start of pioneering net zero in operation office building

Developer The English Cities Fund (ECF), scheme partners and contractor, Bowmer + Kirkland,  celebrated the start of construction at the unique 115,000 sq ft office building, which will set the bar for sustainable development and be the first in the region to meet the UK Green Building Council’s (UKGBC) ‘net zero’ in operation targets, and Blue Peter was there to capture the moment on film. 

The Watering Can submits planning application for extension

One of Liverpool’s most loved Café Bistros The Watering Can, situated on the outskirts of Greenbank Park, has submitted a planning application to extend their site within the boundary of the land that they lease by circa 70 sq. metres (roughly a ¼ of the size of a tennis court) over three distinct areas.
