The Wilkes Partnership are pleased to announce the appointment of two key members of staff who have joined their expanding Business Recovery and Turnaround and Corporate teams.

David Guest joins the firm as a Partner in the Business Recovery and Turnaround team. David brings with him over 30 years of experience having specialised in personal and corporate insolvency, business turnaround and shareholder disputes since he qualified. Based in Doncaster, David is able to assist clients nationally.

Ricarda Jost joins the Corporate team as a German-qualified Lawyer. Ricarda advises German companies on a wide range of corporate transactions including company restructures, shareholders’ agreements, mergers and acquisitions as well as the associated litigation and employment law related matters, working closely with other team members at Wilkes on legal issues in the UK.

David comments: “I’m proud to be joining The Wilkes Partnership as a Partner, this is an exciting time for the firm as they continue to grow. The collegiate atmosphere and the quality of work that is generated by Wilkes is what most attracted me to join the firm. I’m looking forward to meeting clients and introducing them to Wilkes.”

Ricarda comments: “I have always been interested in international issues and contexts. So, having the opportunity to be the connector between German clients and English law at The Wilkes Partnership is fantastic. I’m looking forward to new challenges in a new environment and qualifying as an English Solicitor whilst working for the firm.”

Eleanor Holland, Managing Partner says: “On behalf of the firm, we are delighted to welcome David and Ricarda to The Wilkes Partnership. It is an exciting time for the firm where we are continuing to grow. Having David and Ricarda’s knowledge and experience will only help to enhance our client offering and high-quality service. We are looking forward to them working with us for the years to come.” For more information on The Wilkes Partnership, go to www.wilkes.co.uk.
