Local government executives and industry professionals will join Downtown in Business when we host host two exclusive events at UKREiiF on Monday 19th May.
The annual property event, which is hosted in Leeds, will see Frank McKenna host a lunchtime event focused on city centre regeneration, and a dinner that will see the future of housebuilding in the spotlight.
Among the speakers at the events will be the chief executive of the City of Wolverhampton Council, Tim Johnson, the chief executive of Newcastle City Council Pam Smith, and the chief executive of Halton Borough Council Stephen Young.
Regeneration directors from Leeds and Birmingham will also join the discussions.
On Tuesday 20th May, Frank will be facilitating a session on the Liverpool City Region pavilion with mayor Steve Rotheram, the CEO of Coventry City Council Julie Nugent, and Tim Heatley from Capital & Centric.
The DIB boss said:
“UKREiiF has become one of the most anticipated gatherings among the property community, and I am looking forward to catching up with many Downtown members – and maybe meeting some new ones too.
“Our Monday night dinner has become a regular feature of the festival, but it has become so popular that we have added a lunchtime event to our programme so that we can accommodate as many of our network as possible.
“Although REiiF only officially kicks off on the Tuesday, the fringe is so busy, we have always felt that Monday is a good time to get our events out of the way – and for DIB members to hit the ground running in Leeds, sharing conversations with leading decision-makers from across the country.”
