Social impact mission I Am Moore (IAM), has celebrated a record month, after placing 39 young people into full-time employment across the country.

Working with employers from a range of sectors including hospitality, education and construction, I Am Moore’s pledge to get young adults aged 16-24 from across the Liverpool City Region and beyond into paid employment continues, with the Kickstart scheme also extended by the Government until March 2022.

I Am Moore aims to upskill and support young professionals from their initial meetings in Jobcentres until the end of their six month roles, and then into long-term employment. To date IAM has sourced over 450 vacancies and is on course to create 500 roles by December, and so far has filled almost a total of 160.

Lynn Lock, chief executive at I Am Moore, spoke of her delight at a record month, saying:

“The Government’s decision to extend the Kickstart scheme until March was well received by I Am Moore and that, combined with the fantastic vacancies that we currently have on offer, has ensured a record month for getting young people into full-time employment.

“Our I Am Moore team are meeting new candidates on a daily basis and as we enter into the festive period I have no doubt that we will continue to help young people find their dream careers.”

IAM will be hosting a series of career events and pop ups across the Liverpool City Region in the coming months to try and match young people with dream jobs. For details on how to attend upcoming jobs fairs, please contact your work coach.
