Glenville Walker completes the final chapter of its merger with Rees-Roberts Solicitors

Glenville Walker has officially announced the completion of the merger of Rees-Roberts Solicitors into their group.

Glenville Walker is pleased to formally announce that the final stages of merging Rees-Roberts Solicitors into their group are now complete, with all staff and existing clients of Rees-Roberts having been retained and taken over by Glenville Walker, ensuring a smooth transition to all its long-standing and valued clients.

Glenville Walker is a business law specialist that provides a full range of advice, including business rescue and restructuring; commercial, corporate, employment, intellectual property; litigation and dispute resolution; property and construction.

Expert Commercial Conveyancing Partner, Philip Rees-Roberts and Residential Property specialist, Sarah Mason have embraced the move and both look forward to joining the robust property and construction team at Glenville Walker, whilst continuing to offer clear and tailored solutions to help property businesses and owners thrive across the UK.

The originally registered ABS company structure of Rees-Roberts Limited has since been sold and acquired by new owners, based in Wales, and now operates under a new trading name.

In February 2021, Glenville Walker announced their first acquisition of property specialist law firm Rees-Roberts Solicitors with the aim of strengthening the firm’s presence and reach across the Northwest and to introduce the offering of residential conveyancing to the firm’s client base.

As the firm transitions into its next phase of growth, the merger enables Glenville Walker to strengthen their market presence as commercial and residential property law specialists, whilst simultaneously enriching the excellent service they currently offer to owner managed businesses across the UK.

Philip Rees-Roberts, Founding Partner, Rees-Roberts Solicitors said: “The integration represents the best possible results for continuity of servicing our loyal client base.”

Hazel Walker, Director & Chief Executive Officer, Glenville Walker commented: “We are proud to have retained the highly experienced and personable team of Rees-Roberts Solicitors and can only look forward to what magic we can create for clients and their property portfolios in the future, whilst working as a holistic team under the Glenville Walker brand.”
