Downtown Liverpool in Business recently supported the 2018 Echo Retail Awards held at The Titanic Hotel on 7 October and organised by OCD Events.
The evening played host to many a retailer including Liverpool ONE, Wongs Jewellers, Primark and John Lewis to name a few, also including key sponsors and guests Liverpool Echo, Marketing Liverpool and the Liverpool BID Company.
Downtown in Business proudly sponsored ‘Retail Manager of the Year’. Retail legend David Wade-Smith, Chair of Downtown in Business took to the stage to present to the joint winners Cynthia of Wongs Jewellers and Mouna of Beauty Bazaar.
David Wade-Smith said “it was a sensational event packed with energy. An opportunity to celebrate the retail talent that make Liverpool such a compelling and unique destination.”
Rare Liverpool provided exceptional entertainment throughout the ceremony with presenters Michael ‘Sinbad’ Starke and daughters amusing guests throughout the evening and closing with a lively performance set from the Flynn and Tonics.
Other winners on the evening included St Johns Liverpool, Hotel Chocolat and Utility Design.
