Lord Andrew Adonis is the latest big-name speaker to be confirmed for the inaugural Downtown in Business national property conference that will take place at the Belfry in the West Midlands on Thursday 9th September.

Lord Andrew Adonis is the latest big-name speaker to be confirmed for the inaugural Downtown in Business national property conference that will take place at the Belfry in the West Midlands on Thursday 9th September.

Lord Adonis, who served in both the Tony Blair and Gordon Brown governments, is one of the UK’s leading experts on transport and infrastructure. He was chairman of the National Infrastructure Commission from 2015-2017 and he has pioneered the plan for HS2. He has also served as an Education Minister, a Transport Minister, and a Shadow Minister for Business.

Other confirmed conference speakers include the Managing Director of West Midlands Transport Laura Shoaf, Urban Splash boss Tom Bloxham, the Managing Director of Soho Estates, John James, the chief executive of Manchester City Council Joanne Roney, and Gary Neville.

TONIC TALENT LAUNCHES DINE AND DONATE FOR BIRMINGHAM CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Hospitality and catering recruiters, Tonic Talent, have launched their Dine and Donate campaign for Birmingham Children’s hospital.
The campaign will see £1 added to the customers’ bills in April 2024 to raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Many venues in the city, such as the Michelin-starred Simpsons, have pledged their commitment to raising money in this way.
