Downtown in Business has teamed up with leading laboratory research and clinical training centre BioGrad for the City of Liverpool Business Awards 2022.
BioGrad will be the headline sponsor for the #COLBA’s, which acknowledge and celebrates companies and entrepreneurs that have made a successful and significant contribution to economic growth in the city region.
BioGrad was established in 2014 by Dr Natalie Kenny as a way to offer laboratory and clinical training to science students, graduate researchers and teachers, not only from across the Liverpool City Region, but globally. In 2020, BioGrad rapidly changed its focus in response to the pandemic, creating BioGrad Diagnostics which facilitated Covid testing for their clients and the wider public. BioGrad has grown exponentially; reporting record revenues, creating over 100 jobs across the region and opening more lab sites, including a testing centre in Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
