Downtown in Business, in association with Best for Britain, hosted two exclusive Fringe events at this years annual Labour Party conference in Liverpool.
On Monday we were joined by Paymaster General Nick Thomas Symonds MP, who has been tasked with resetting the UKs relationship with the European Union, and on Tuesday the Minister for Energy, Miatta Fahnbulleh MP joined us for dinner, reflecting on Keir Starmer’s conference speech, and outlining her ambitious policies and plans in her new role.

I know that those from the DIB network who attended the events enjoyed the opportunity of meeting Ministers and having the chance to put forward their thoughts and opinions on government policy around Europe, net zero, and wider economic issues.
