Exhibition Centre Liverpool confirms new events

Exhibition Centre Liverpool has confirmed a series of new consumer and trade exhibitions.

The Great Brick Adventure takes place this August bank holiday. Featuring three interactive zones – the Safari Zone, Mythical Beasts and Warriorbots – it will showcase some of the world’s best LEGO(r) brick models.

The waterfront venue will welcome Smarter Travel LIVE! in October this year, an annual event for professionals and experts working in intelligent mobility, smart city planning and active travel.

In November, pigeon enthusiasts from the Royal Pigeon Racing Association will meet for the British Olympiad Show.

Looking ahead to 2019, for The Love of Wrestling is the first wrestling convention of its kind and will feature top names from the world of wrestling – including Bret ‘the Hitman’ Hart and Ric Flair – when it comes to Exhibition Centre Liverpool in April.

Education experts, university representatives, employers and gap year specialists will gather at the UCAS Higher Education Exhibition, one of the organisation’s largest events on its meetings calendar, in June next year.

Vape Jam UK will take place in the venue for the first time in October 2019.

Adrian Evans, assistant director – conference and exhibition sales, said: “As we head towards the third anniversary of Exhibition Centre Liverpool, we are pleased to confirm a myriad of consumer and trade exhibitions, all of which are coming to Exhibition Centre Liverpool for the first time.

“The diversity of these events reflects the versatility of our venue and the confidence that exhibition organisers have in our team that we will deliver.”

Exhibition Centre Liverpool recently recruited Colm Graham as its new senior exhibition account manager, bolstering the venue’s exhibition sales team.

Since opening in 2015, it has welcomed a range of events such as the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers FPS Expo, Liverpool Comic Con, RunFit Expo, Labour Party conference and the International Business Festival, which returned for the second time in June. Forthcoming events include The Gin to My Tonic Show, The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo and the Free From Show Winter.

‘The Fuzzy Duck’ has hatched on Hope Street
