ACC Liverpool welcomed delegates to the inaugural Northern Forum hosted by Conference and Incentive Travel magazine.

ACC Liverpool welcomed delegates to the inaugural Northern Forum hosted by Conference and Incentive Travel magazine.

The event is a dedicated industry forum for corporate and agency planners based in the north of England. It brought together senior event organisers, venues and destinations to connect with experts specialising in their areas of interest in the region.

The two-day programme was packed with practical insight and a wide range of sessions presented by leaders at the forefront of change in the events industry, including the rise of bleisure, reinventing the way we network, the dos and don’ts of data and making your event more inclusive.

Senior event professionals discussed challenges and issues facing the events industry through a series of panel discussions and case studies.  The line-up of speakers included senior representatives from organisations such as Capita Travel and Events, Virgin Media and Top Banana.

It included opportunities for attendees to meet and network, including one to one sessions. A dinner took place at Liverpool Cathedral as part of the conference.

Adrian Evans, ACC Liverpool assistant director – conference sales and exhibitions, said: “We were honoured to host delegates at this inaugural forum which provided a useful platform for senior event professionals to discuss the possibilities and opportunities around hosting their major events in our region.”
