Having worked in this area of law for nearly three decades, Nicola brings a wealth of experience to her new role in this busy department.

In addition to her expertise, Nicola emphasises the bespoke service which the team offers.

‘Divorce is a challenging time in so many ways – in terms of the financial implications, arrangements for children, or simply the sheer emotional strain. That’s why it’s so important for people to see the same lawyer every time.

In fact one of my first moves as head of department will be to recruit more talented lawyers to join our busy team.’

Aside from her duties with Gorvins, Nicola has also provided lectures, training and assistance to Public sector organisations including the Police, Local Authorities and charities.

After reading law at the University of Kent, Nicola, who lives in the Heatons, having completed her training at Manchester Law School. She was formerly a partner at Linder Myers.

Meanwhile, in her spare time Nicola likes country walks, foreign travel and dancing.
