With two acres of woodland and formal gardens, individual and shared plots of land have been developed and utilised to produce fruit, vegetables and plants and provide a beautiful oasis for local wildlife.

With an orchard growing figs, mulberries, grapes and apples, a pottery studio managed by BITA Pathways, vegetable and herb beds, a nature trail, a formal garden with unusual trees and shrubs, a children’s play area, a hot house and wildflower meadows, it’s a tranquil setting to spend the day and learn more about horticulture and local wildlife in one of the hidden gems of Birmingham. The gardens and woodland are home (with SLINC status) to Pipistrelle bats, badgers and birds and many species of fungi, beehives (beekeeping courses are offered throughout the year), butterflies and moths.
