The wood based panel manufacturer remains open to support those working in the frontline of the Coronavirus pandemic
FINSA, a Wirral based business in Merseyside has been sending wood-based materials to those working to support the current pandemic. Materials are being used to build things such as temporary mortuaries, and additional hospital space.
Latest orders for melamine faced boards have been going to the ExCel Centre in London to create the Nightingale Hospital with more planned for delivery in the coming days.
FINSA is currently one of the only sheet manufacturers operating in the UK at the moment. The company has also seen a significant increase in materials being sent to industries who are experiencing a spike in demand driven by the crisis showing the UK is preparing for what is to come.
FINSA make materials from wood for construction and manufacturing companies. From materials such as MDF, chipboard, veneers to specialist boards like bacteria resistant materials which are usually found in hospitals, schools and hotels.
FINSA’s Sales Director, Ben Hughes said,
“Our factories are operating in a safe and healthy way. Their ongoing production, the open ports and our core team of staff here has meant we have been able to support the fight against the Covid -19 on the front line.
Whilst most of our team here at FINSA are working from home, we have put measures to safeguard our team who are working in the Wirral Warehouse to fulfil orders from across the UK.
